Entangled With You Episodes 14-15 // American Web Series Review

Welcome to Queer Fudanshi. Let’s talk. In this post we’re going to talk about Entangled With You Episodes 14-15.

Entangled with You is an American Dramedy Web Series. The official premise found on the Entangled with You web site goes:

After suffering breakups, a stoic lesbian moves in with a perky straight woman. With nothing in common beyond mutual heartache, the two form an unlikely bond as conflicts with their significant others force them closer.

Created by Caryn K. Hayes, Entangled is a relationship dramedy following roommates Alisha (Kathryn J. Taylor) and Jaliyah (Loren Lillian), who move in together after separating from their partners. Emotional and perky, Alisha takes a reluctant Jaliyah on her up-and-down grief tour, while the stoic and cool Jaliyah deals with her own loss.

Only… Alisha’s on-and-off-again boyfriend, Craig (Al Thompson) and Rocky (Jessica Meza), Jaliyah’s girlfriend, never leave the picture. Failing to fully disconnect from their relationships leaves the roomies in a constant back and forth with their emotions and the pair form an unlikely bond as their lives begin to intersect in unexpected ways.

My Thoughts Before Watching

I’m kind of surprise that Entangled With You is almost over for us. There’s only four episodes left and after this post there’ll just be two. I wonder how this story will end up. (Spoilers if you haven’t been watching up to this point). Will the two roommates accept their feelings and start a romantic relationship? Will the two exs be ok with this? How will Jen and Kassie end their story? I’m actually interested in finding out. Of course, till then I will settle for these two episodes.

This is Entangled With You Episodes 14-15.

Where to Watch:

The Talk (Spoilers Ahead):

Episode 14: “Guess Who’s Staying for Breakfast”

That was a very good episode. First, there was so much hostility at the start of the episode, and the end of the episode. I was thinking, “Why are the women at this party so hostile?” Then at the breakfast table I was thinking the same thing until Craig said, “Why is everyone so hostile?”

Speaking of Craig, he was absolutely hilarious. Between the wine, pie, and eggs, he was a great comedic foil for the heated arguments going on. While Craig and Alisha are always funny together, Craig by himself was especially funny in this episode.

Also, Jaliyah is being such a wish-washy mess. Again, I couldn’t deal knowing someone like her in real life. She was jealous of Alisha with Craig, so she went and pursued Rocky who was taken. Then when Rocky was interested again she pushed her back with a cheating guilt trip? She’s just too much drama.

Episode 15: “Deny, Deny, Deny”

Apparently it’s not just Jaliyah. Besides Jen and Kassie, I honestly don’t know what to think about the couples in Entangled With You Episodes 14-15. Jaliyah and Rocky and Alisha and Craig are all so all over the place.

You know one other couple that I love? Jen and Jaliyah. Right from the start of the show they were relatable and fun. This episode, with their sloppy drunkiness, reminded me of that.

Also, I love that Kassie understood them enough to get them weed. That was another great Jassie moment. And yes, I did just call them Jassie. Deal with it.

In Conclusion

Entangled with You Episodes 14-15 were two very good episodes. I was constantly happy watching the 30 minutes between them, and honestly I would rewatch them in a heartbeat. That’s high praise from me.

My rating for Entangled with You Episodes 14-15 is 5 stars out of 5.
